Hello there, welcome to EvanSiroky.com, glad you made it. As you may or may not know, I love transportation, especially public transit. I also like bicycling and walking. To me each trip I make and watch others observe is really interesting to me in terms of how people behave and react as they move about the world to various places of activity. Because of this interest, I find that using a car to travel inhibits the experience of transportation.
I currently make my living working as an Intern at PTV which is a transportation consulting and software company. PTV does travel demand modeling and traffic simulation and more work on transit than the average American transportation consulting firm. I am always looking for ways to make transportation funner and easier either through work or during my freetime. I have a created a number of online transportation tools that can help you find your way around.
I'm getting ready to move to Tacoma so I can be closer to work. Although I will be moving (a small distance) away from Seattle and a number of great friends and groups I have made, I'm really looking forward to exploring Tacoma and meeting new people in the area. I'll still be back in Seattle regularly for Convergence, but will be looking for a more local church on Sundays. And I'll be up in Seattle for alleycats and Critical Mass, but I'll try to find a bicycling community in Tacoma or start one if there isn't.
