Bike Racing

I ride bikes a lot because it's fun! I also compete to express my rage in a constructive way. Right now I race for Guinness Cycling Team, but stick almost exclusively to the road. In 2011 I raced a ton and got enough points to move from Cat 4 to Cat 2, but didn't go to a 2 because I hadn't won a race in the 3s. I blog somewhat regularly about biking over at DJStroky Racing.

I also enjoy other kinds of biking. The whole racing stuff actually came about from a bunch of alleycats I had done and heard about. I've won a bunch of them and progressed to the next level so to speak. I've got 5 bikes total. A fixie, a road racing bike, a commuter bike, a broken racing bike and another small single speed I really need to sell. Despite being a tall monster, I still really enjoy climbing up hills and the ensuing descent.

DJ Stroky

I used to have a really good blurb here that made lots of people think I was this awesome dj. Honestly, I have a very specific music taste that has literally cleared dance floors before. But, I like what I like.
