About The Schedules

This is the most comprehensive source of inter-city transit transfers for the pacific northwest. While all of this information is presented and accurate to my knowledge (as of July 19, 2008), I realize that the schedules will change over time and that some bus routes may even change course or get removed completely. Therefore, I offer no guarantee to the complete accuracy of these schedules. I have personally only traveled on the Portland to Seattle route, so everything else is compiled from numerous transit agencies' websites and assumed to be up-to-date.

Nonetheless, please use these schedules as much as you like! For now I am only listing weekday schedules and say whether each route is possible on weekends. Unless I also noted that more transfers are required, check the schedules for each route to see if a weekend trip is possible. If there are any errors that you notice, please and let me know what changes should be made. Also, if you know of any additional public transit routes, please and let me know and then I'll try to add the new routes as soon as possible.

Here is the list of regional transfers:

Walk or bicycle across the border. I make ABSOLUTELY no guarantees that you will make it into Canada and would advise that you bring a passport at the very least. I recommend to use this walking or bicycling route, however BE VERY CAREFUL along the route! The border crossing is designed only for cars traveling at high speeds and has no sidewalks or bike lanes. You will want to walk into the building in the middle of the road on the Canadian side to get cleared. Also at the border crossing, pick up some Canadian Dollars for the next buses. If anybody has crossed the border on foot, I would love to hear your experience.
